Ministry Description

Our missions are twofold, #1, Being native Taiwanese and knowing the local language, we help our fellow new American missionaries to settle down here. #2, we minister to students of SYME especially those who are older. Simon preaches at the chapel and teaches English, Wen handles daily SYME administration/finances. We love to work with young missionaries for the sake of the gospel.

About Simon

I was from Taiwan and got saved in Philadelphia, PA in 1985. After spending most of my working life in the States. In 2017, I got a Master of Divinity degree and as an ordained pastor, my wife and I now serve at Word of Life Taiwan as missionaries. We are blessed with the faith and wish to spend the rest of our lives sharing the good news of Jesus Christ to the people of our own race. (Romans 9:1-3)

About Wen

Serving in Taiwan broadened my horizons and enhanced my faith in Jesus. It's great to serve God after retiring from the workforce in America. Thank you, Lord for giving me this wonderful privilege to serve God through serving the people you love.
