Ministry Description

My ministry with Word of Life Asia 2 is focused on establishment and expansion of its network for evangelism ministry with Christian schools in Indonesia through collaboration with the Council of Christian Education in Indonesia (Majelis Pendidikan Kristen Indonesia) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) in Indonesia. Currently, Word of Life Asia 2 is involved in three key ministries: Camping (Spiritual Retreats), Local Church Ministries (LCM), and English for Life (EFL). We have started connecting with several Baptist schools to organize Spiritual Retreats for both students and teachers.

About Siska

As an educator, a mother of two, and with a background in Industrial Engineering, I have gained valuable experiences in collaborating with schools to support children's holistic development, particularly their daily experiences with God.
Though I was raised in a non-Christian family, my grandmother—who came to know the Lord Jesus as her Savior—encouraged her grandchildren to attend Vacation Bible School during the school breaks in Bandung. In God's perfect timing (kairos), He allowed me to build deeper friendships and received significant spiritual guidance from church and my Bible study group. The Holy Spirit led me to read John 14:6 more intimately, which says, "Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’" These words deeply impacted my heart, and I felt compelled to accept Jesus as my personal Savior. His clear message made it an easy decision to follow Him as His disciple.
This experience ignited a passion in me to help the students I teach come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. I often wonder, how can they hear and accept the gospel if there is no one to teach and live it out for them, especially in Christian schools?
Thus, with greater collaboration between Christian schools in Indonesia, the Council of Christian Education in Indonesia, and ACSI Indonesia, we see vast opportunities for ministry.
Together with the Word of Life Asia 2 Team, we aim to support teachers through retreat programs that refresh and equip them to return to their schools with renewed energy and commitment to their calling. Additionally, we hope to see more and more students make decisions to surrender their lives to Jesus.
