Hi, I'm Timoteo Martins. I minister in Portugal.
I am one of the leaders of the Word of Life camps Portugal, where I serve more in the program (schedules, activities, games, theaters).
I also help with the financial part of the ministry and lead the ministry of Go Play+ (games in English that teach Christian values in public schools). I am still the worship leader of my church and I am in the leadership team of the young adults.
So, by His grace God keeps me busy. My daily life is divided between the responsibilities of the Word of Life and service in my local Church.

I believe the Lord saved me when I was 4 years old. My father is a pastor and from a very early age my parents tried to explain the Gospel but without "forcing" a decision for Christ. They didn't want me to follow Jesus for their sake but for an individual decision. At the age of 4 I asked how I could be saved, they explained and I gave my life to Jesus.
My walk with Jesus has been one of great learning. At the age of 18 I entered the university, where I took the management course and where I was able to serve the Lord in the University Bible Group. As a normal young man, when I left college, he didn't really know what I wanted to do. No opportunity excited me. Until the opportunity arose to study 1 year at the Word of Life Institute in Hungary. I'd wanted to study God's Word more deeply for a few years, but I was in college. So I went.
I have done ministry all my life. As a pastor's son it is inevitable. He also participated in the Word of Life camps in Portugal every summer. So, after finishing the Institute, the decision to be a missionary, for me, was easy:
Believed in the vision
Had opportunities to serve
I love camps
The talents that God gave me fit perfectly
Since then, I completed the second year of the online institute of the Word of Life in Argentina and I serve in Portugal. I raised support in record time (it was God, obviously) but I soon realized that promises and giving do not always go hand in hand. I have enough to live on, but I am raising more support to be able to live alone (I still live with my parents) and have a house where I can receive young people, do discipleship, carry out church activities, etc. It seems impossible but... To God they are just numbers. Can you pray for that?
To God all the glory!
