Ministry Description

This spring, I have the privilege of going on a short-term missions trip to Guatemala. This trip is part of a Spring Semester course every sophomore student takes at Word of Life Bible Institute. Instead of only learning about missions in the classroom, students get to raise support and participate in missions around the world alongside Word of Life missionaries. Word of Life Guatemala began about 30 years ago and has a major focus on Bible clubs for young adults, teenagers, and children. Additionally, there is a Ministry Training Center where students come to study the Bible and serve in ministry alongside the full-time missionaries for a year while also learning English. Throughout the year, various other ministries include sports marathons, medical trips, drama, camps, and conferences. This trip will include local church ministry and evangelistic events in local schools and villages.
