Hi, I'm Wendy Nguyen. I minister in Vietnam.
Would you like to give to this missionary's project?
I was adopted into Word of Life Vietnam team after my WOLBI year in Korea. Now I'm working on a translation project to translate the materials of FIFTY1 into Vietnamese. FIFTY1 is Middle and High School Ministry Curriculum, which is specifically designed to help students deepen their faith and develop spiritual habits through engaging lessons and targeted growth areas. We have 6 years of original materials being in progress of translation now. Prayerfully the teenagers in Vietnam will be blessed by this project.
Besides, I'm helping with camps and projects of WOL Vietnam throughout the year.

I was born and raised in a Christian family. I was in church all those time, but not until I turned 21, did I gave my life to God. I have always wondered why God wanted to be my everything in life. With that unspoken and unanswered question in mind, God looked selfish and unseasonable to me that I wanted nothing to do with Him.
On Christmas 2012, I got a book named "Not a Fan" from a friend. The answer for that question of mine was found in that book. "God wants to be my one and only priority in life, because He loves me so much, He also wants me to be faithful to Him." God's love was pictured as the intimate relationship between husband and wife. The husband cannot has affairs and goes home telling his wife she was still his no.1. She definitely doesn't want to be 1 out of many, but the only woman in his life, because she loves him ad also wants him to be faithful to her.
In the same way, God loves me, He "did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?" (Ro.13:32). He has given me everything, He has been faithful to me, and who am I that the God of the universe wants me and asks for my faithfulness in return. When I realized how much I was loved, and how much God has done for me before I ever knew Him, my heart was touched, and I gave my life to Him that very Christmas.
Since then I was discipled by a missionary in Vietnam. And the first time I ever heard of the word "missionary" was from her, a brave old lady in her 70s who went home to the Lord in 2020. I remembered saying "I wanted to do something like you in Japan someday." I didn't know how serious I was back then, but she took that to heart and prayed for me. It has been almost 10 years by now, and I still have that same desire to be sent as a laborer into the Lord's harvest field.
