Hi, I'm Aiden Park. I minister in South Korea Mainland.
Here in Korea with Word of Life Korea (WOLKO), I serve as a long-term intern staff, following God’s Great Commission in Matthew 28:18–20 — to go and make disciples of all nations.
My ministry focuses on serving the next generation through discipleship, mentorship, and creative outreach both at the WOL campus and in local Korean churches.
Here’s a bit about what I do:
- Jr. SYME Ministry: During our English discipleship program (Jr. SYME), I support students in their daily lives, lead counseling sessions, and help them grow spiritually through biblical guidance and mentorship.
- Bible Club: Throughout the year, I serve through Bible Clubs, partnering with local public and alternative schools to disciple students and help them understand the gospel clearly.
- Creative & Translation Ministry: I serve through drama performances and sermon interpretation, using creative communication to share the truth of Christ in engaging ways.
- Tech & Media Support: I also assist full-time missionary Hwankyu in various technical and media-related projects that help strengthen and expand the ministry’s impact.
Ultimately, my goal is to see young people in Korea and beyond come to know Jesus personally and live as His faithful disciples.

I was born and raised in South Korea as a fifth-generation Christian. My family’s faith traces back to the very first American missionaries who brought the gospel to Korea before the nation was divided. During my grandparents’ childhood, my great-grandfather studied theology in what is now North Korea. When the Communist regime began to persecute Christians, my grandparents fled south to preserve their faith. Because of this legacy, I grew up surrounded by the gospel and the church.
From a young age, I understood the gospel in my head, but not in my heart. In fifth grade, I attended a church retreat with a close friend who wasn’t a believer. During the prayer time, I found myself praying for my friend’s salvation—asking God to let him experience His unconditional love through Jesus Christ (Rom 10:9-10). While praying, I suddenly realized how deep God’s love truly is for sinners like me. That moment changed everything—I finally understood what it meant to accept Jesus as my personal Savior, and I made my own decision of faith.
After that experience, I began to ask deeper questions about life—why I was born, where I would go after death, and what purpose God had for me. As I looked around, I noticed how many of my friends had never heard about Jesus. I was especially burdened when I heard my grandparents’ stories about those in North Korea who still have no opportunity to hear the gospel because of government restrictions. I realized that something I had freely received was something many people might never encounter in their lifetime. That realization sparked my heart for evangelism and missions.
As someone who loved theater and musicals, I was amazed at how powerfully stories could communicate across languages. Even when I didn’t understand the words, I could still grasp the message. I began to dream of using creative arts as a tool to share the gospel effectively.
Later, when I prayed about attending seminary, my parents were concerned because of my past immaturity. But on the morning of the last day for college applications, during our family QT, God confirmed His calling through (Jeremiah 1:5–9). That passage reminded me that God equips those He calls. With that assurance, I stepped forward in obedience and began my journey in ministry training.
