Ministry Description

Currently, after having led the Ministry in Word of Life Bolivia, we will continue serving our God in the Word of Life Latin America Ministry, while we await moving to Argentina to continue our ministry. I still dream about the work that God will do in Bolivia, collaborating with the local church, teaching evangelism to the students of the Word of Life Bolivia Ministerial Training Center, and developing evangelistic projects to bring to Argentina, with the vision and desire to “Reach one more with the Gospel.” This has been my passion and life’s purpose since I met my Savior, to give all the glory and honor to Him alone.

About Juan

I had the blessing of being born into a Christian family, and from a young age, my family took me to church where I learned more about Christ. Due to a problem I had with my hip, I was hospitalized and unable to walk for three years during my childhood (from 5-8 years old). I remember the day the doctors discharged me to go home. I was 8 years old, and that day my mom shared the Gospel with me. I was able to kneel and accept Christ as my personal Savior.

When I was able to walk again, soccer became the most important part of my life, and I put God in second place. For 20 years, I continued attending church but living a life of hypocrisy and without commitment to the Lord.
At 30 years old, my hip once again kept me from continuing to play soccer. It was then that I met a doctor who was treating me and helped relieve the pain. One day, this doctor told me that my hip was in bad shape, but my heart was worse, and he challenged me to give one year of my life to the Lord. This is how I decided to go study at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

While I was studying at the Bible Institute, I learned to love God and His Church, but most importantly, I understood that God was calling me to serve full-time in missions.

In 1998, together with my wife, we came to serve in Bolivia through the Word of Life ministry and have been here for 28 years.

About Noemi

I had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home. When I was 7 years old, I received Jesus in my heart as my personal Savior, and I have always participated in different ministries in my church.
When I was a college student, little by little I began to live a double life. I didn’t live a life committed to God, but after about 5 years, I was invited to go to the Word of Life camp in Argentina. This is where God began to speak to my heart, and I made the decision to dedicate my life to the Lord’s service.

I decided to stop studying psychology, which I had started, simply trusting that the Lord had something better for me. For three years, I studied at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Argentina, and in 1998, along with my husband, we accepted the challenge to come to Bolivia. Today, in 2025, we face the challenge of supporting and serving the missionaries and ministries of Word of Life Latin America in Argentina.

Currently, while we wait to move to Argentina to continue our service to God with the Word of Life Latin America Ministry, I continue serving the Lord in Bolivia through counseling, both in-person and virtually, as well as teaching the students at the Word of Life Bolivia Ministerial Training Center in the Gastronomy Workshop, and ministering with the Word through conferences in some churches.
