Ministry Description

Throughout the years, my family and I have been directly involved with the ministries of the Bible Institute in the ministry office, evangelism programs and church ministry. God has also entrusted us with being responsible for camp in Ukraine, eastern Europe, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Our biggest passion is to see people getting saved and lives being changed with the Gospel. My vision is to develop our ministry team in Ukraine so they can serve effectively and independently. Through the growth of our team, we would like to see three branches of Word of Life open in Ukraine and to look at the possibility of full-time ministry for Word of Life Ukraine in Asian countries.

About Sergey

We are Korobkin’s family - Serhiy and Olya.
We both were born in the unbelieving families. Olya came to Christ at an early age, and I when I was 17 years old.
After getting acquainted with the missionaries from Word of Life, we started coming to volunteer at summer camps. Then we decided to study at the Bible Institute WOL.
The ministry of WOL had a great impact on our lives and our formation.
After our studies, Olya and I, having a desire and decision to serve the Lord, having accepted God's call, in 2003 we joined the "word of life in Ukraine" missionary staff full time.
At that time, I was 24 years old and my wife was 20 years old.
Step by step, God opened up great opportunities for us to preach the gospel and spiritually impact to young people through all areas of mission ministry. We have also in this ministry grown spiritually, strengthened ourselves and learned new and different areas of ministry. The Lord has taught and is teaching now us to live a life of faith in regard to our provision and covering the necessary needs for life in the ministry.

About Olga

God has given us two wonderful children - a son Slavik and a daughter Gloria. They give us much joy and encouragement. They are already helping us in different areas, on many service trips we go on together.
We thank God that as a family we can be in God's work.
We believe that family and ministry are one.
