Ministry Description

Over the years, my family and I have been directly involved in the ministry of the Bible Institute, responsible for the ministries of all students, then for evangelistic programs and student ministries in churches.
We developed camps in Ukraine, Eastern Europe, and Kazakhstan.
Now I see as a priority the development of our missionary team and also the creation and implementation of projects that carry the gospel. My vision is to develop our ministry team in Ukraine so that they can serve effectively and independently. Through the growth of our team, we would like to see three Word of Life branches in Ukraine and consider full Word of Life ministry in Asian countries.

About Sergey

I was born into an unbelieving family and came to Christ when I was 17 years old.
After getting acquainted with the missionaries from Word of Life, started coming to volunteer at summer camps. Then I decided to study at the Bible institute WOL. The ministry of WOL had a great impact on my life and formation.
At Bible Institute, I met Olya and after graduation we got married.
Having a desire and decision to serve the Lord, and having accepted Gods call, in 2003 we joined the "Word of life Ukraine" missionary staff full time. At that time, I was 24 years old. Step by step, God opened up great opportunities for us to preach the Gospel and spiritually impact to young people through all areas of mission ministry. I have also in this ministry grown spiritually, strengthened myself and learned new and different areas of ministry.
In 2013 I accepted the leadership ministry of mission. My vision is to develop our ministry team in Ukraine so we can serve effectively and faithfully.

About Olga

I was also born into a non-Christian family, but at an early age I turned to Jesus as my personal Savior. My entire youth was spent in church among believers. At the age of 15, I came to Word of Life Camp for the first time. And every summer since then I have traveled as a volunteer for the entire summer to the camps. This time was a great blessing to me - I grew spiritually and made some very important decisions for my life. Then I came to study at the Bible Institute. Those were wonderful years of studying God's word, shaping my Christian life, and learning how to do ministry. Now I am very happy to be part of the missionary team, serving the young people of our country and beyond. More than 20 years of my ministry have passed and I am grateful to God for every opportunity He has given and that He has been able to use me.
We have two wonderful children: son Slavik (2008) and daughter Gloria (2012).
They give us much joy and encouragement. They are already helping us in different areas, on many services trips we go on together. We thank God that as a family we can be in Gods work. We believe that family and ministry are one.
