I am currently working with the Bible Institute in Uganda as the Programs Administrator that includes doing Administrative work for the Student Life and Ministry Departments. I am also involved in one on one discipleship with one of the Bible Institute girls. Through my years at WOL Uganda I have been involved in the Ladies Discipleship Ministry, High School & University Bible Clubs, Camp Counseling and Gospel Productions.

I grew up in a catholic home in a family of 6 children. I think I was considered a generally good girl because I never did what other girls my age did (going to parties, dating, sleeping around and taking alcohol). When I was 14 years I lived with a maternal auntie who was a born again Christian, she took me to her church and a counselor shared about this Father who will always be around when I need him and all I had to do was accept him in my heart. I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior but I didn't understand exactly what it meant for Christ to die for me, I thought at the time that He would solve all my problems and give me anything that I asked him for.
2 years later in 2000, I came to know a Pastor who then explained to me what it means to be saved and for Christ to die for me on the cross, it made sense to me but studying the Word of God wasn't something I was familiar with until 2005 when I was given the my very 1st Word of Life Quiet time dairy. This was a completely new experience for me to study the Word daily and in a systematic way. I attended a Word of Life camp and at campfire night I dedicated my life to serving God in whatever way He wishes. Little did I know that He was leading me to serve with Word of Life Uganda.
In 2006 I joined Word of Life Uganda as a volunteer and later on was taken on as full-time staff. It has been and continues to be a growing experience for me, I have been able to consistently study the Word of God and depend on Him to provide for me and guide my every step. It’s not easy with the ever changing needs and trends of the world, am always tempted to go in the way of the world but God has continued to take me a different direction. In 2014 after 8 years of serving, God allowed me the opportunity to enroll and be part of the pioneer class of the Bible Institute in Uganda – the first of its kind in all of Africa.
Discipleship has been a challenge that God placed on my heart through my years at WOL Uganda and my year at the BI. Working with young girls in different settings has been a tremendous opportunity for me to love and grow in the Word of God and seek to live according to His Word daily because not only do I teach these girls the Word, they also get to watch the way I live my life. Am encouraged by the zeal these young girls have to love God with all their hearts and to do His Will.
