Spread the gospel to children and their families through Word of Life's Olympians program in the United Kingdom by teaching the local church how to raise up leaders, to share Christ with children by discipling them and how to sustain a steadfast ministry to their community.

About Alex

I grew up in a christian family, when I was young I was faced with the truth of my sin and how it separated me from God. I knew I had to pray so I talked to God alone and asked Jesus to take my sin for me because I could not do it myself; I needed Him to save me. After that I felt a new spirit in me. In my teen years I met my future wife Rachel, we married and after about 4 years we were invited to serve in our church's Olympians ministry. We eventually became directors, where I felt a part of my spirit awaken into something new. I wanted to desperately show kids the love of God. Soon it became clear He wanted us to spread His love beyond our church family, and called my wife and I into the mission field abroad in the United Kingdom to reach other churches and help them become models for Christ's love for their children.

About Rachel

I was raised in a home where we believed in God. When I was 11 years old my parents and I started attending a local church where I started to think more about God and wanted a deeper relationship with Him. I was baptized a year later with a knowing heart of God as my Savior and the only way to heaven is to believe this and live my life for Him. As I grew into a teenager, though, the world caught my eye and I left God’s path, although I believed I was still walking with Him. It wasn’t until God sent a friend to me, Alex, to show me the error of my ways and to return to Him. Through Alex, God helped me rededicate my life to Him, fully, and understand that He forgave me for walking away from Him. Afterwards, God opened my eyes and heart to the understanding that Alex would eventually be my husband. 2 years later we were married and moved to New York where God has continued to work in my heart and my life for His glory.
God has opened my heart to understand why children's ministry is so important. In a world that tells children that "their truth" is not just an opinion but is fact, God has told us to go and tell these children THE truth, the real truth, God's truth. The world needs Jesus, and so do kids. They are already thinking of these major life views, and God has asked His people to feed the kids truth!
"Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the word of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry." 2 Timothy 4:2-5
