Ministry Description

After two years of attending the Bible Institute, further deepening my faith in Christ, I am continuing my time with Word Of Life this year as staff with one of their traveling recruitment bands. These bands are typically a 1-year-long program designated to minister to local churches throughout the US via worship, service, and sharing with them what Word Of Life is all about. By the end of the term, the bands will have the opportunity to go on a mission trip to one of the Word Of Life locations around the world to help support the missionaries there. These bands will be traveling to neighboring states, from their assigned campuses, playing in church services, youth events, conferences, and so forth. For the past year, these traveling recruitment bands have been best known as Legacy.

About Lex

I had gone to church since I was little, but hadn't taken my faith in God seriously. I couldn’t give an exact date I was saved, but I do remember the Summer I first went to WOL Camp from the support and scholarships of my church. At camp, I had realized how broken I truly was and in need of God. I had rededicated my life and slowly began to give him my all. Through the testing of my faith, God had shown me his heart. Through this ministry with Legacy, my passion is to see students and young adults take their next step with Jesus and get to know him personally. I am definitely not perfect, but I believe in the one who is.

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice. Proverbs 31:8‭-‬9
