Ministry Description

Paraguay is a country distracted and lost by the catholic and animistic religions. The mission of Palabra de Vida Paraguay is the discipleship and evangelism of youth in Paraguay unto Christ alone. They do this through helping local churches with their youth ministry, running camp ministry, their one year discipleship program for college age students (The CED), and Chaco outreach in the countryside.

I want to learn about what its like to be a missionary, and see if that's what God wants for me long-term. In order to do that here's what I'll be doing;
Learning Spanish
Spending time with missionaries and learning from them
Discipling students at the CED (Using what I learned in the Counseling Internship)
Serving at Camp
Learning from missionaries how to share the gospel in long-term relationships
Taking trips to the unreached peoples in the countryside

About Colin

Jesus saved me in middle-school through multiple people sharing about what He did for me. I was discipled in youth group and at camp, but still struggled a lot with my belief in God. I went to the WOL Bible Institute in New York for two years and learned tons from classes and staff members. Then I was an intern with the Center for Biblical Counseling at the Bible Institute. Now I am passionate about sharing the gospel with teenagers, and discipling college age students because of how important it has been for me! I am not sure if I will serve God in the states long term as a mobilizer/sender, or if I will be on the mission field, but the two years I spend in Paraguay will prepare me for both!
