Ministry Description

This spring, I have the privilege of going on a short-term missions trip to Poland. This trip is part of a Spring Semester course every sophomore student takes at Word of Life Bible Institute. Instead of only learning about missions in the classroom, students get to raise support and participate in missions around the world alongside Word of Life missionaries. Word of Life Poland has been around for almost 40 years, opening right after the fall of communism in the country. Our missionaries there are heavily involved in local church ministry training and supporting youth ministries as well as running an English ministry called English4Life (E4L). E4L is a residential English-immersion program for post-high school students. During the summer, the team runs sports camp, English camp, and family camp. This trip will include local church ministry, English ministry to Polish nationals, street evangelism, and visitations to a foster home and/or a home for the disabled.
