Ministry Description

Currently, I am actively involved in my local church, particularly in the area of biblical formation. I teach adults, youth, and children, and during the week I visit different schools and colleges to provide devotionals and interact with the youth. Additionally, I participate in Compassion International, where I offer classes on personal development to underprivileged street children facing various situations. I am also engaged in activities such as Word of Life camps, counseling, medical trips, evangelism, Bible Clubs, and worship, among other things.

Actualmente estoy sirviendo en mi iglesia local en la parte de formación bíblica. Enseño a adultos, jóvenes y niños, y durante la semana voy a diferente escuelas y colegios para dar devocionales y compartir con los jóvenes. También, participo en Compassion International impartiendo clases de formación humana a chicos de la calle y de bajos recursos que enfrentan diferentes situaciones. De igual forma, participo en los campamentos de Palabra de Vida, consejería, operativos médicos, evangelismo, Club Bíblicos, ministerio de alabanza y entre otras cosas.

About Donacien

My name is Donacien Jacson, and I live in the Dominican Republic. I am originally from Haiti but now I'm a missionary of Word of Life Dominican Republic. I am delighted to express my testimony here and share what the Lord has done in my life as a weak thing of the world, as well as what He is currently doing.
At the age of 9, the Lord brought me out of Haiti during a horrific time when criminals killed part of my family. In order to save my life, my mother sent me to the Dominican Republic without knowing anyone, the culture, the language, or anything about the country.
After a prolonged period of living on the streets without my parents, the Lord transformed my heart when I was 16. A friend invited me to church and that day I met God as the Lord and Savior of my life. From that point on, He began working in my life, showing me the importance of education. Three years after accepting Christ, I returned to high school to complete my education. Furthermore, I studied the Bible for two years: one year at the CCM Word of Life in the Dominican Republic and another year at Word of Life in Mexico. Afterwards, I was given the opportunity to pursue a degree in theology at the university in order to serve Him better.
Initially, I believed I would never forgive my mother for sending me to the Dominican Republic and the hardships I endured. However, I later came to understand that it was all part of God's plan for my life.

¡Saludos! Mi nombre es Donacien Jacson, soy de Haití, pero soy misionero de Palabra de Vida en República Dominicana.
Estoy muy contento y feliz de poder plasmar mi testimonio aquí, y compartir las cosas que el Señor ha hecho en mi vida siendo un vil del mundo, y lo que Él está haciendo en mi vida actualmente.
A los 9 años el Señor me sacó de Haití en un momento horrible, en el cual criminales mataron parte de mi familia. Mi madre para salvarme la vida me envió a República Dominicana sin conocer a nadie, la cultura, el idioma, nada del país.
Después de un largo tiempo viviendo en la calle sin padre y madre, a los 16 años, un amigo me invitó a la iglesia y ese día conocí a Cristo como Señor y Salvador de mi vida. Luego de eso, Él empezó a trabajar en mi vida enseñándome la importancia de la educación, y tres años después de haber aceptado a Cristo volví a la secundaria para terminar.
También, tuve la oportunidad de estudiar la Biblia dos años: un año en el CCM de Palabra de Vida República Dominicana, y un año en Palabra de Vida México. Luego, me permitió entrar a la universidad hacer una licenciatura en teología con el fin de poder servirle mejor.

Había pensado que nunca iba a perdonar a mi madre por haberme enviado a República Dominicana y por los sufrimientos que había pasado, pero luego entendí que todo era parte del plan de Dios para mi vida.

(Isaías 55:6). "Buscad a Jehová mientras puede ser hallado, llamadle en tanto que está cercano". Isaiah 55:6. Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.
