Ministry Description

Today, I have the privilege of serving as the Strategist and Partnership Development Coordinator, as well helping to lead the Local Church Support Ministries at Word of Life Uganda. In these roles, I help develop strategic ministry growth initiatives, build partnerships with churches and ministry supporters, and lead efforts to strengthen local churches across Uganda. I work alongside pastors and church leaders by providing biblical training, leadership development, evangelism and discipleship resources, and practical ministry support. I provide leadership to the department the equips churches to faithfully proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and become healthy, reproducing communities that impact their communities and future generations for Christ in all regions across Uganda.

SERVING TOGETHER

Ministry is not my calling alone, it is our family's calling. My wife, Jemimah, faithfully ministers among women, especially pastors' wives. She provides biblical encouragement, discipleship, and mentoring to women who often carry the unseen responsibilities of ministry. Together, we desire to see families strengthened, marriages encouraged, and women equipped to influence their homes, churches, and communities for Christ.
God has also blessed us with four children who are growing up watching the Gospel lived out in everyday ministry. Our prayer is that they too will love Christ wholeheartedly and faithfully serve Him wherever He leads.

THE VISION AHEAD

Although Uganda remains our primary field of ministry, God is expanding our vision. Jemimah and I are prayerfully preparing for future ministry in Malawi, where we hope to partner with local churches in evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, and church strengthening. Our desire is not simply to start new ministries but to help establish healthy churches that will faithfully make disciples for generations to come. We believe the Great Commission is accomplished through healthy local churches, and we long to see God's saving power made known throughout Africa.

WOULD YOU JOIN US?
Everything we do is possible because God works through our faithful partners.
When you pray for us, you strengthen us. When you encourage us, you remind us we are not serving alone. When you invest financially, you become part of every pastor trained, every church strengthened, every disciple equipped, and every person who hears the Gospel through this ministry. Together, we can continue making God's saving power known where Christ is proclaimed and where He is still scarcely known.

About

Making God's Saving Power Known Among the Nations

Dear Friend,

Thank you for taking the time to learn about our ministry. We are grateful for your interest in what God is doing in Uganda and beyond. Our prayer is that as you read our story, you will rejoice in God's grace and prayerfully consider partnering with us to make disciples among the nations. Jemimah and I have dedicated our lives to proclaiming Christ, strengthening local churches, and equipping believers to make disciples throughout Uganda and, Lord willing, beyond.

A LIFE TRANSFORMED BY THE GOSPEL

For much of my life, I believed that being religious meant I was right with God. In 2007, after spending eight years preparing for ministry in a Roman Catholic seminary, I accepted an invitation to attend a Pentecostal church in one of Kampala's slum communities. At the end of the service, the pastor invited me forward and led me in a prayer. Although I sincerely wanted to please God, I simply repeated the words he asked me to say. I left believing I had become a Christian. For the next seven years, I faithfully served in church ministry. Yet despite my passion and commitment, I had never truly understood the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In 2016, everything changed.

I joined a team of missionaries for door-to-door evangelism, hoping to learn how to share the Gospel with others. Since I spoke the local language, I was assigned to translate while one of the missionaries explained the Gospel. As I translated his words to another person, I realized God was opening my own heart. to speak directly to me. For the first time, I understood that salvation is not earned through religious activity or personal effort. It is the free gift of God, received by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. The Holy Spirit convicted me that although I had been religious, I had never truly trusted Christ for my salvation.

When the person we were witnessing to responded in faith, I also placed my faith in Jesus Christ that very day. God graciously transformed my life, forgave my sins, and gave me a new purpose. From that moment, I committed myself to growing in God's Word and living as a faithful disciple of Christ. God gave me a new heart, a new purpose, and a passion to help others understand the same life-changing Gospel that rescued me.

THE GOSPEL THAT TRANSFORMED ME BECAME THE GOSPEL I NOW LIVE TO PROCLAIM

After my conversion, God opened the door for me to study at the Word of Life Africa Bible Institute, where my understanding of Scripture was deeply strengthened. As I grew in biblical understanding, one burden became increasingly clear. "Across Uganda, many pastors faithfully love the Lord but lack access to sound biblical training. Many churches desire to grow but need discipleship, leadership development, and biblical resources."
I could not ignore that need. Rather than keeping what I was learning to myself, I returned to my community and began teaching pastors and ministry leaders the truths I was learning from Scripture. What began as informal discipleship soon grew into a full-time nationwide ministry of leadership development, discipleship devoted to help build and strengthen the Church of Jesus Christ..

That your ways may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations. (Psalm 67:2)
