Ministry Description

Eduardo Acosta is the director of the Word of Life ministry in Central America. He and his wife, Dayana, are bringing the ministry's vision to various leaders and pastors of local churches through discipleship and training. Eduardo also serves as a youth pastor at his local church and supports the various activities there with his wife.

About Eduardo

I am from Central America and I first heard the Gospel of Christ when I was sixteen years old. I was lost and without purpose in life until Jesus Christ forgave me and gave me salvation. I met my wife at a Christian camp and in 2010 we got married. From the beginning I was involved in the work of God and especially in working with the youth of my local church. In 2011 I learned about the ministry of Word of Life for the first time and I was given training in Bible Clubs. The principles of the Word of God that they teach, the clear vision, the passion for the lost and the love of the Word of Life family captivated our lives. We prayed for a few years and in 2016 we were able to go to study at the Bible Institute of Word of Life Argentina and we were able to have more extensive training to better serve the Lord. In 2018 we returned to Central America and since then the Lord has given us the opportunity to serve Him in this beautiful country with many needs. Our wish is that God continues to give us the opportunity to serve the people of our country.

About Dayana

Dayana comes from a family originally from Spain, England, and Jamaica with a fascinating history. She was born in Central America to a Christian family and attended church from a young age. However, at age 11, she accepted the Lord at a summer camp. From a young age, she has served the Lord in different areas, but mostly in youth ministry. She met Eduardo in 2006 during a summer camp, and they married four years later. She has always served the Lord full-time, and one of her favorite hobbies is sewing and knitting, which she has used as a tool to disciple other young women. She does an excellent job educating her two beautiful daughters and currently serves as a Word of Life missionary in Central America, helping Eduardo with various ministry opportunities.
