Ministry Description

I have the privilege of serving on the Overflow Legacy Band. I am the keys player, one of the male vocalists, and am blessed to be the leader of the music side of this ministry. This means I help guide and lead in our choices of music, our worship through practice, and our genuineness when we have the privilege of worshiping the Lord with others. I am beyond thankful to have the opportunity to serve in this way. Our team gets to travel the United States over the course of nine months and serve in churches, schools, camp events, and more. This team uses worship through music and the sharing of God's Word as a way to make connections and be used of the Lord to impact others. As a part of this team, I have the opportunity to go on a missions trip to Brazil this coming spring. In this missions trip, we will be able to serve the church, share the gospel through evangelism, and learn of God's work from the missionaries currently serving there. I am so excited to see all that the Lord will do through this team.

About Emmanuel

I was privileged to grow up in a God-loving Christian Household. Soon after I was born my parents were called as missionaries to serve in Word of Life France. Growing up in the missions field was impactful in my early years and showed me what a life devoted to the Lord should look like. When I was around five years old, I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior and understood that he loved me so much he was willing to die for me so that I might have a personal relationship with Him. Later on our family was called to move back to the states. But even though we left our missions field in France, we were still serving Him in different ways now here in Florida. As I grew up in France and in the States, I was surrounded by the Christian faith. I knew what it was to look like a Christian, but I fell into a life of apathy. Through my middle school and high school years I was living for my self and had my priorities all over the place. It wasn't until I graduated high school and went to the Word of Life Bible Institute that I realized that my life shouldn't be focused on my self. I need to be continually focused on the Lord. I had learned that the Lord must always come fist and foremost in my life. After finishing up my first year, I attended second year at the Word of Life NY campus, and then was privileged to serve on staff with Word of Life through the Legacy Team. Through these opportunities I have been able to use where the Lord has gifted me to serve Him and learned so many ways that the Lord has been growing me.
