Ministry Description

As a Biblical Counseling Intern, I serve at the Center for Biblical Counseling at Word of Life in New York. My days include biblical counseling courses through Davis College, Counseling students, leading a discipleship group, and receiving personal discipleship and mentorship from certified biblical counselors.

About

I was raised in a difficult home where faith was not a part of my family’s life. At seven, I was introduced to the church through my grandfather, and there I first experienced the love of Christ.

At ten, I attended Word of Life Ranch, where I heard the gospel and recognized my need for a Savior. I placed my faith in Christ and came to know the hope and love of my Heavenly Father.

Since then, I have desired to pursue counseling as a ministry, helping others find the same hope and comfort I found in Christ. Now, a decade later, I have the privilege of being part of the Biblical Counseling Internship at Word of Life, trusting the Lord to use this experience for His glory.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.
