ABOUT ESPOIR
Growing up in a Christian home, I initially followed the practices of my faith without a deep personal understanding. As a child, my parents’ beliefs and values were my guiding authority, and I imitated their actions, including attending church, praying, and reading the Bible.
While I didn’t fully grasp the significance of these practices at the time, our nightly family devotionals played a pivotal role in shaping my spiritual foundation. Through these devotions, I came to understand the biblical truth that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), recognizing my need for salvation.
I also learned about Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for my sins and the importance of placing my faith in Him. This understanding led me to confess my sins and personally trust Jesus Christ as my Savior.
After graduating from university, I began working as a Computer Science Teacher, where I encountered many Muslim students. I felt a deep sense of compassion for them, recognizing their spiritual needs. This passion led me to feel a strong conviction to attend Word of Life Africa Bible Institute, where I could be equipped with a deeper understanding of God’s Word and better prepared to reach the lost. Upon graduating from the institute, I felt an unmistakable call to full-time ministry. My wife, Patience, and I are humbled to serve as vessels for God’s work.
ABOUT PATIENCE
I was introduced to Jesus Christ at a young age, but it wasn’t until I was 10 that I gained a deeper understanding of His sacrifice for my sins. At that point, I made a personal commitment to trust Him as my Savior.
I have been actively involved in my local church, where I served in Sunday school. This experience instilled in me a strong conviction for ministry. Subsequently, I decided to further my training at Word of Africa Bible Institute to enhance my ministry skills and knowledge. Espoir and I have been married since 2023. It is our joy to serve the Lord together.
