Ministry Description

While on the field, I will be serving alongside the full time missionaries at Word of Life South Africa in their focus of every person taking their next step with Jesus. I have the privilege of helping them restart their Discipleship Training Center ministry where I will have the opportunity to walk alongside students to point them towards the Lord. In addition, I will serve in winter/summer camps, soccer ministry, Bible clubs, and outreach events.

About

I was born and raised by two parents who love Jesus. As a family, we would attend church every Sunday and Bible camp every summer. One night while going through my quiet time, they explained the Gospel to me for the first time. It was that night that I understood the price that Jesus paid for my sins and accepted Him as my Lord and Savior.

After this, nothing really changed in my life. I wore the title of a Christian but did nothing to even know what that meant. As I got older, I really struggled with understanding my purpose. I placed my identity in people and their perspective of me. Throughout this time, I had never taken the steps to have a close relationship with the Lord. While I knew God as my God, I had never taken the time to know Him as my personal Father. When I was 16 years old, the Lord really got a hold of my heart to understand my need to know Him personally. I was reminded that my identity is found in being a child of God and by His beautiful mercy, I was able to clearly see my purpose in life. To serve Him.

I was able to attend first and second year at the Word of Life Bible Institute where my knowledge of His sovereignty and His great love for me only grew. These two years grew my love of ministries through the opportunities of evangelism, discipleship, youth camps, and so many ways that I was able to serve. During my second year at the Bible Institute, God humbled me with my own disobedience. I started realizing how unknowingly unwilling I was to the idea of overseas missions. Quickly after I began to pray about it, God made the decision very evident. Every other potential door was shut and the door to CCI was opened! The Lord's deep love for the nations has overwhelmed my heart. I am so blessed to have known God for so long and I have actively seen the Lord completely transform me. I cannot wait to share the same news that changed my eternity with the people of South Africa! May every nation, tribe, and tongue know of the goodness of God!
