Ministry Description

Me and my wife Tori have the privilege of serving at the Word of Life Bible Institute in New York. We are able to serve in different areas here on campus and engage the students here through community, discipleship and more.

I (James) work with the Biblical Counseling Center on campus, providing counsel and discipleship to the students, staff, and whoever else may request it. I am able to encourage and equip those who I counsel with the Bible and its promises for their life. Our Ministry believes in the sufficiency of scripture to be able to help each and every person who comes into contact with it, while we are here to present and guide people through its application to their lives. We are able to provide this Bible founded counsel for no charge to the students through your faithful and prayerful support.

My wife (Tori) is serving with the Live production's department, enabling our sports teams, worship bands, speakers, and guests to spread the Gospel and the Bible through the invaluable support of technology like livestreams, audio systems, and so much more. She also has the opportunity to teach students how to use technology and events to spread the impact of the Gospel.

Living on Campus with the students attending the Bible institute, we can engage in life with the students and staff here through discipleship groups, topical devotional groups, and many more forms of community and outreach. We even have the privilege of hosting movies and dinners at our little home from time to time.

About James

Being raised in a God-loving and God-fearing home brought me to understand the Gospel and Jesus' Sacrifice for me at a young age, understanding why he died and how much I needed him. My faith in God is the cornerstone for me, my family, and my relationships. God has always set my heart on the hurting and needy, and my time at Word of Life quickly showed me the amazing change that can take place within two years. God has now given me the opportunity to use my life here guiding students through the same hardships and difficulties of life we all experience, using the Word of God to show them the way.
