Develop processes and procedures for camp health centers
Hire and train camp nurses

About Joshua

I was born into a Christian family and grew up as a pastor’s son. From a young age, I wrestled with whether God could truly save me and keep me saved by His power. That struggle led me to discover the depth of Christ’s sacrifice and the true meaning of salvation. It was during that season that I surrendered my life to ministry.
Since then, God has graciously allowed me to serve in a variety of ways. I began serving with Word of Life in 2017 and now have the privilege of serving as the Dean of Ministry at the Florida Bible Institute. Over the years, the Lord has placed a clear burden on my heart: to equip the youth of the West Coast of the United States to walk in a deeper relationship with Him.

About Corinn

I had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home where my parents had my siblings and me in church almost every time the doors were open. Through their love and intentionality to model a godly life, I realized at a young age that I was a sinner and in need of a Savior. With the help of some great Sunday School leaders, I trusted Christ as my personal savior. Since then, the Lord has used many highs and many lows in my life to remind me of his constant love for me, and the fact that our hope is not in earth, but our mission is.
In college, I pursued a degree in nursing and quickly fell in love with the opportunity the field gave me to meet people in their time of need, care for them, and share the hope of Jesus with them. My degree also opened up the opportunity to begin to serve with Word of Life Camps in 2018 and, eventually, the privilege of taking over the Florida medical center in 2020 for our Florida and Intersect Camp locations. It has been a blessing to be a part of the life change that we see year after year in both the campers that come onto campus as well as the staff, I am able to serve with each year.
