Hi, I'm Jackie Kibalama. I minister in Uganda.
I serve at Word of Life in the Local Church Support Ministries and the Ladies Ministry. I have seen lives changed through God's Word in churches, that Word that pierces through born and marrow (Hebrews 4:12), I have seen God soften hearts of stone into flesh, lifting the weak and brokenhearted. Surely if the Son sets you free you shall be free indeed (John 8:36).

It was in 1999 when I got saved, before that I loved reading the Bible but always failed to do what it commanded me to do, I struggled with sin but never gave up on reading the Bible. As I lived with my saved auntie, watching her lifestyle, her prayer life, how she testified of the Lord’s goodness, I knew the truth but never confessed Christ. One day as I read the Word I got convicted to get born again so I told my auntie about it. She prayed and lead me to the Lord, a few weeks later I got baptized. My experience was not good because I had no accountability with anyone to help me grow so I continued doing the same things I used to do before salvation. In 2011 July I came to Word of Life, and as the Director preached at a camp fire I dedicated my life to God to change me and use me for His Glory. I learned how to read and apply God’s Word as I was taught to do quiet time (Joshua 1:8), to be faithful to my local Church, serving in ministry and Biblical counselling.
In 2014 I got the privilege to study in the Bible institute where the Lord continued to teach me, rebuke and direct me through His word. Since then, my desire for ministry has grown, and I love to encourage and disciple young ladies.
