Ministry Description

My passion is to share the gospel with the youth. I have a burden to walk alongside teens, as I would have wanted someone to walk with me after I got saved/as a new believer in Christ: Someone to be there to listen to me, encourage me, and guide me to the absolute truth that is in the Word of God. Therefore, through relational evangelism, discipleship, and teaching from God’s word, I get the privilege to share the work of the LORD in my life.
The youth have various truths and doctrines that are pushed through the media and on the internet. So, they need someone who will walk with, listen to, and guide them to the absolute truth through evangelism, discipleship, exhortation, and teaching: see, as I was evangelised to and discipled: I have the opportunity to do the same by His grace, hence see lives changed and hearts transformed for His glory. In addition to my ministry with Word of Life - Local Church Ministries, I serve by leading the youth at my local church in Durban and serving on the music team.
Our foundational ministry with WOL is to support local churches, specifically training, discipling, and encouraging youth leaders to better minister to their teens and children in their context. " Colossians 1:28-29 "

About Joshua

My name is Joshua Mashele. I was born and raised in a hybrid-believing family, and due to that, my heart was empty until I got invited to a youth overnight. There my life was transformed by the grace of God: I believe that Jesus Christ came and died for my sins, was buried and on the third day, he rose again, thus in Him there is forgiveness of my sins, therefore I can have a personal relationship and fellowship with Him. Therefore, I am passionate about sharing what the Lord has done in and through my life to see youth like me come to the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour for His glory. Scripture says: “He does not want any to perish” (John 3:16-17 and 2 Peter 3:9).

Titus 3:5-7 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
