Ministry Description

I get the opportunity to serve alongside full-time missionaries in South Africa. I will be able to be a part of their Discipleship Training Center, so I will get to interact with the students, teach them about God, and point them towards Him. I will also be helping with summer camps, local church support, soccer ministry, and other events.

About

I was raised by two Christian parents, so I was presented with the gospel at an early age and got saved when I was very young. Throughout high school, it was difficult for me to make Christ my number one priority in life; that was until I went to Word of Life Snow Camp, which is a gospel-driven winter camp put on by Word of Life. At Snow Camp, through different speakers and conversations, I decided that it was time to take my relationship with God more seriously. I decided to do two years at the Word of Life Bible Institute, where I was learning about the Bible and how to share my faith through different classes. During my time there, I got to be a part of a lot of various ministry opportunities, including open-air evangelism, a missions trip to Panama, being a camp counselor, and more. God has used my experiences there to grow my love for missions and has increased my desire to reach the lost for Christ.

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me - the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace. - Acts 20:24
