Since I was a kid, I wanted my life to count for eternity. But I never imagined all the places God would take me—or the challenges and blessings that would shape the journey.
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, into a missionary family. From a young age, I heard about Jesus and trusted Him as my Savior. When I was nine, during a WOL summer camp, I dedicated my life to serve Him. That decision set me on a path I’m still walking today.
In 1992, my family moved to Ukraine, and my world expanded. I saw firsthand the power of the gospel to change lives across cultures. After high school, I returned to Argentina to study at the Word of Life Bible Institute, where God deepened my love for His Word and confirmed my calling to missions.
After finishing my studies, God brought me back to Ukraine as a missionary—and that’s where I met Lena. We got married in 2002 and started serving together. For 12 years we worked in Ukraine, and then for 11 years in Spain, focused on evangelism, discipleship, and building up local churches.
Then God changed our plans again.
In 2024, we moved to the U.S. and joined the team at Word of Life International Ministries in Hudson, Florida. Part of this move was because of health challenges I’ve faced since having Long COVID. It’s been a season of adjusting to new limitations, but also discovering new ways to serve.
These days, Lena and I are involved in:
Discipling young people and leaders both online and in person.
Creating Bible studies and devotionals for Spanish-speaking audiences worldwide.
Helping missionaries who pass through the WOL headquarters feel at home and cared for.
Building relationships with professionals, students, and communities to share the hope of Christ.
Even on the hard days, I’m convinced God brought us here for a reason. Our desire is to keep using every opportunity He gives us to reach people for Christ and encourage the church.
We’re trusting Him daily—for health, strength, provision, and open doors for ministry.
If God puts it on your heart, we’d love for you to partner with us in prayer or support, so together we can keep making a difference for eternity.
“I never thought one invitation to a Bible study would completely change my life—and eventually lead me to serve people all around the world.”
I grew up in Ukraine in a family that didn’t know Jesus. Both my parents worked at the Chernobyl Nuclear Station, and after the explosion, our family had to leave our home and move to Kyiv. Life felt uncertain and heavy during those years.
One day, a friend invited me to a Bible study. I was curious—and that curiosity changed everything. It was there I learned about Jesus, and I decided to trust Him as my personal Savior. Little by little, one by one, the rest of my family also came to know the Lord. Not long after, during a summer camp, I dedicated my life to serve God wherever He might send me.
In 1999, I went to the Word of Life Bible Institute in Argentina for a year of studying the Bible. It was a time of growing in faith and preparing for ministry. After finishing my studies, I returned home—and that’s when God brought Juan Marcos into my life. We got married in 2002 and began our adventure in ministry together.
For 12 years, we served in Ukraine, and then for 11 years in Spain, sharing the gospel, discipling believers, and helping local churches grow stronger. Then, in 2024, God called our family to move to the U.S. to join the team at Word of Life International Ministries in Hudson, Florida.
These days, my ministry is focused on:
Serving missionaries who come through the WOL headquarters, helping make the guest houses feel like home.
Caring for young women—whether it’s through listening, offering encouragement, or just being there when someone needs to talk.
Supporting events and translating for international meetings so people from different nations can connect and be encouraged.
It hasn’t always been easy, especially navigating a big move and new culture. But I love being able to serve and help others feel cared for and loved, just as God once did for me through a simple invitation.
I’m thankful for the chance to keep serving the Lord, and I look forward to all the new ways He will use our family here in this season.
Would you consider joining us in prayer or support as we continue sharing God’s love with people from all nations?
