Ministry Description

We will be involved in various areas while serving at Word of Life Poland. Some of these areas include English4Life, local churches, property help, and special events. A few of our roles within these areas include teaching Bible and English, discipling young adults, helping to run youth groups, teaching lessons to youth groups, and participating in various activities during summer camp. In general, Word of Life Poland has quite a full schedule, so we will be plugged into many different areas as needed.

About Jaron

When I was young, I was fortunate to grow up in a home with two loving parents, both of whom introduced me to the gospel at an early age. I grew up going to church and was shown the love of Christ. When I was 4 years old, my mom sat down with me and walked me through my need for a Savior because of my sin and emphasized that Jesus was the only way to heaven. So there in my room at the foot of my bed, I accepted Christ as my savior. As I grew older, global missions were never something that was on my radar until I attended the Bible Institute. During missions conference of my first year, I really felt the Lord begin to tug at my heart and felt a call to missions. I was blessed to go on two missions trips within the next eight months. One trip was to the Dominican Republic, and the second trip was to the Philippines. This confirmed what I had previously felt was the Lord's calling: to go and share the gospel with others around the world. My wife, Sophie, and I were married on April 25th, 2025, and now get to pursue the Lord's will in our lives together.

About Sophie

My relationship with the Lord started when I was 7 years old. I heard the Gospel presented clearly at Awana clubs and understood that I was a sinner and couldn't save myself. I believed in what Jesus had done for me and asked Him to be my personal Savior. Not much changed right away in my life, and I was still living mainly for myself. When I was 13, my family spent about a month in Mexico to serve alongside a missionary family. It was there that I saw what it truly looks like to live for the Lord. The believers there were so selfless with their time, resources, and money. Seeing how big their hearts were for serving God and others, I was very convicted. I knew I needed to change the way I was living my everyday life. The dad of the missionary family opened up an opportunity at their house church for anyone to get baptized the next week. I spoke with my Dad, and I knew I needed to publicly proclaim my faith and dedicate my future to the Lord. When I went home, I knew the way I needed to live, but I also knew what my flesh wanted. High school was a struggle because I entered that new season wanting to prove to God that I could live in a manner that was glorifying to Him. I wanted to do it by my strength and be bold for my Savior. That was a flawed plan, and I failed. Over and over, I would fail and be confused about why. I was living a double life. At church, I thought I knew all the answers, and I did the right things. At school, I wanted everyone to like me and give me attention. I was seeking to please others and not God. During my Senior year, the Lord graciously broke me down and started removing some huge idols from my life. He brought my sins into the light and tore down the walls I had built up. He allowed me to discover Word of Life Bible Institute, and He gave me great peace and a clear calling to attend. I knew I needed some drastic changes and good accountability. The Lord has used the Bible Institute to bless me in more ways than I could have ever imagined. He helped me build up my knowledge of His Word and gave me opportunities to truly serve others selflessly. I am so grateful for all He has brought me through and done in me so far.

"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?" Romans 10:14
