About Levi

I was blessed to be born into a family that took faith very seriously. When I was 4 years old I was tubing down the river with my dad and I asked him what would happen to me if I were to die and he explained to me the full gospel. Which is how God created us to be with Him. But we sinned and our sins separate us from God. But our sins cannot be removed by the good deeds we do. Yet paying the price for our sins Jesus died on the cross and rose again 3 days later. And everyone who trusts in Christ alone can have eternal life. Life with Jesus can start now and lasts forever. So I grew up knowing that, but there were many idols in my life such as popularity, sports, and reputation. And reputation was a big one for me because growing up I always had a good reputation but I would tend to be a so-called “two face” Christian. I would be a great kid at church and look like I am living life for Christ but when I would go to school I would never share Christ with anyone or about what Jesus has done in my life I also never spent any personal time with Jesus. And during these times I began to seek for worldly success and strived for money, status, relationships, and for my future. One of my biggest problems was that I tried to set up my future on my own. At the end of high school I enlisted in the army, had an airborne contract signed and planned to work up the ranks to ranger then special forces once I turned 21. But God humbled me and changed my plans. The airborne contract that was signed was taken away from me for no reason. So I began to look for a college and God sent me to Word of Life Bible institute. And throughout my first year at the Bible institute I realized that God took away my “dreams and desires'' for a reason. He sent me to WOLBI because He wanted to use me to do His will and serve Him for the rest of my life. During my second year at WOLBI I was blessed to go on a trip to Israel. And God used this trip to show me what He wanted me to do for the rest of my life. And that is to take His gospel to the 4 corners of the world. And now I am trying to commit my life to Jesus with open hands letting HIM guide me wherever it leads so that His will, will be done in my life.
