Ministry Description
Right now, we are in the process of redefining my responsibilities at WOL during this unique time. Previously, I was assisting the director's wife in pastoral care of the single missionary women on staff as well as counseling students. At church, I will continue to lead the Kid's program on Saturdays and serve as the Lord leads and enables.

About Laura
I was blessed to be raised in a Christian home, where my parents were faithful to serve God through our local church. However, I was not saved until the age of fourteen when our new pastor explained that salvation is not through church membership or baptism, but through Christ alone. When I went to college I found that having never been discipled, I was not ready to confront the teaching of a non-Biblical worldview, nor face its lifestyle and my walk with the Lord was weakened in both ways. By God's grace, while on a study abroad program in Ecuador, I met missionaries from WOL who shared about the BI in Argentina. Upon graduation from college in 1998, I studied there on and off for three years, restoring my relationship with Christ and strengthening my commitment to Him and His call on my life. In 2002, when I returned to Argentina, committed to stay and serve with WOL, Javier and I met. We were married the following year, and God has given us the enormous gift of three beautiful children: Lucas (02/13/06), Hannah (02/10/08) and Rebekah (10/22/10). We pray for wisdom to raise them to know, love and serve the Lord. This past year, we have faced a difficult trial due to sin in Javier's life, and under God's leading and the multitude of counselors, we are now separated, praying that God will restore his life, and trusting the future to Him. Lucas will be going to college in the States this year, while the girls and I plan to continue to serve the Lord at WOL and through our local church.
