Ministry Description

I work in the education department. I grade tests, keep score of grades, and get diplomas and certificates ready for graduation. As the BI secretary, I register new students. As a translator, I translate Spanish speaking professors and any material that is needed. As a counselor every year, I have the responsibility to do personal discipleship with our students.

About Maryana

I was born in Kyiv in a family of atheists. I was taught from childhood that God does not exist, but when thoughts of death came to me, I was always scared. God was searching me in His love! My classmate, who was also my friend, accepted Christ with her whole family and their lives started to change. She told me about Christ and God started tugging at my heart. When I was 17 years old, I invited Christ into my life as my personal Savior. On that day, God took me out of the darkness and into His light; giving me hope and an abundant life. At the age of 19, I found out about WOL just when it first was established in Ukraine. At WOL's first campfire, I dedicated my life to God for ministry as a full time missionary. Later on, God opened up doors for me to be able to go study at WOLBI Argentina. It was an amazing time where I could attain a stronger foundation. Then, I went back to Ukraine and could witness many miracles that God performed in the hearts of young people of our country! I am more then grateful to God for an amazing life being a part of a wonderful ministry that He has given me!
