My name is Matt Dooney, Word of Life Local Church Missionary to North Florida.

Our passion is to help local churches develop vibrant youth ministries through evangelism, discipleship and leadership development. Our greatest joy is seeing adults in the local church become more effective as true disciplers of youth.

About Matt

I accepted Christ as my personal Savior at the age of eight. I was privileged to grow up in a Christian home where my family was always there to help me grow spiritually. Through youth leaders and a Word of Life missionary, I was challenged to grow closer to Jesus Christ. God led me to the Word of Life Bible Institute, where He showed me the needs of youth here in America. My passion is to see young people come to know Christ as their personal Savior and be discipled to spiritual maturity.

About Katie

I chose to follow Christ at a Sunday School when I was very young. I attended a mission's conference when I was ten years old and learned that there are people all around me who have never heard of Jesus Christ, and it is my responsibility to tell them. Right then I knew that sharing His love was what I wanted to do full-time! My greatest joy is to point others to the truth of God's Word and watch it change their lives to become more like His Son!
