Ministry Description

I am a singer with Word of Life's traveling band, Legacy! From September 2023 to April 2024 we will be traveling up and down the east coast and a bit of the Midwest visiting schools, churches, and various youth events playing music, doing games, teaching, putting on skits. These components help us break down walls for the Gospel as well as making connections and encouraging the students to take their next step with Jesus! I am so excited to see how the Lord uses me in this ministry opportunity!

About Olivia

I grew up very active in the church hearing the Gospel very frequently. At a young age, I understood what Jesus had done for me and wanted to spend eternity with Him! But as I grew up, I had a hard time understanding the difference between religion and relationship. In middle school and high school, I began attending Word of Life camps and that is when the Lord started using people in my life to display His character to me and show me what I was missing. Though I was active in church, I didn't spend any personal time with Him. As the Lord was faithful to me and continued drawing me closer to Him, He opened the door for me to attend the Word of Life Bible Institute in New York for 2 years! This is when the Lord developed in me a passion for people and youth ministry. In my first year, I was blessed to be a part of one of the bands and served on the Island that summer. The Lord taught me the importance of worship and how it is so much more than singing songs. In my second year, I was blessed to be an RA and develop skills in discipleship and encouraging others to grow in their faith! I am so excited to see how He will continue to grow me and use me for His glory!
