About Phillip

I grew up in a pastor's home and accepted Christ at a young age. As a youth, I was introduced to Word of Life and remained faithful in my quiet time and scripture memory. At 22, I became a youth pastor, a role I have faithfully served in for the past 30 years.

This summer at camp, I had conversations with several youth pastors who seemed uncertain about their plans for their ministries. Feeling a deep burden to help, I reached out to Word of Life, asking if someone could come to Texas and set up a table at our largest youth conference. I was ready to partner with a Word of Life missionary, sharing insights from my 30 years of ministry experience.

After several discussions, Word of Life asked if I would consider being the one to bring their ministry to Texas. Following five months of prayer, interviews, doctrinal reviews, and discussions, my family and I felt God’s clear call to accept this new role.

Texas is a vast state with a great need, but we are excited to see how God will work as we serve Him in our home state.
