Hi, I'm Vanessa Jimenez Vargas. I minister in Argentina.
After more than 15 years of service at Word of Life Bolivia, God once again changed my plans and brought me to Word of Life Argentina.
Starting this year, 2026, I have the privilege of serving the Lord here at Word of Life Argentina, working as a secretary in the Bible Institute department. It is a great joy to be part of this team; I know the ministry faces many challenges, but my only desire is for God to use me for His work and for me to serve Him with all my heart.
PRAYER REQUEST:
o Strength to continue serving God and giving glory to Him alone and taking advantage of every opportunity to serve..
o For my sister Pamela, who suffers from schizophrenia, may the Lord work in her life so that she accepts the medication she needs; she doesn't want to do it voluntarily. Through the Lord's
provision to cover her expenses, starting in 2022, I am responsible for covering her rent for a place to live.
o Provision and Support Team: Serving God full-time is a privilege that requires sacrifice, and today I must face daily financial needs with faith. I know very well in whom I have placed my trust throughout all these years of ministry. With that complete confidence in His provision, I ask you to pray that the Lord will raise up individuals and families who desire to actively join His work through their financial support so that I may continue to serve full-time in the ministry.
Monthly Support Needed: U$ 700

I met Christ at a Word of Life Camp in January 2008, at the age of 20. I arrived at the Camp with a completely broken life, without hope or purpose. My life philosophy was: “If I die, I’ll go to heaven because it’s the least God can do for me.” Up until that point, I had had a very complicated life: My mom died when I was 8, my father abandoned my two sisters and me. We went to live with my grandparents for almost two years, but they died. I was very angry with the one who ran the universe, because at that time I wasn’t very clear about the existence of God. Shortly after, with an angry heart, I went to live with some uncles, who were Christians and went to church. So I had to adopt the appearance of a “Christian,” a “pastor’s daughter,” but with an angry heart and far from God. Shortly after, I was abused by the person who went to church. It was then that my anger had a name and surname: God and Christians, but despite everything for ten years I was involved in the church in the church choir, playing the piano, teaching children; that's how I came to the Word of Life Camp, angry with God, during the camp they told me about the love of a different God than the one I didn't know, Noemí Lella presented me with the message of salvation and it was there that for the first time I was able to understand that my biggest problem was not the death of my mother and grandparents, it was not the abandonment of my father, and even my biggest problem was not the abuse that I suffered for ten years, my biggest problem was that I was spiritually dead and separated from God, and that nothing I could do could save me from eternal damnation, only the blood of Christ, it was there that I decided to believe in the Work of Christ and receive Him in my heart as my personal Savior, from that moment on, my life took a totally different course, from that moment on I know that I have a Purpose and Hope of Eternal Life in Christ.
SERVING TO GOD
When I came to know Christ at camp, I was in college, just three months away from graduating and starting my career, BUT God had a better plan for my life: He wanted to heal my heart and mend my wounds, and He used the ministry of Word of Life Bolivia, where they cared for me and where I was able to learn more about God’s love; there I was able to understand that God had saved me and that I had a purpose. I had the opportunity to attend the Word of Life Bible Institute in Argentina for three years; God worked miraculously in every aspect of my life. After receiving Christ as my personal Savior, the most important decision of my life was to serve Him full-time in the Word of Life Ministry so that I could reach others with the message of salvation, especially those who might be in the same situation as I was, without hope. I am a child of God, and over the years I have been able to experience God’s goodness and care, and that is why now I only want to serve Him and give Him glory because “...He has strengthened me, for He considered me faithful, appointing me to the ministry.”
