Ministry Description

Missionary/Evangelist, I work with Spanish Ministries as our Spanish ministry coordinator while focusing our efforts through our Florida Bible Institute. We minister in local churches with BI ministry teams. Evangelism and discipleship of both teens and leaders are our main focus. Short-term missions trips to Central and South America and Europe and Asia. I am a faith-based supported missionary.

About Rick

I received the Lord into my heart October 25, 1972 during my senior year of college while attending the University of Kentucky. My mother had been very faithful to take me to church where I heard great messages and teaching from Sunday School teachers and pastors like Warren Wiersbe, Galen Call and Randy Faulkner.
It was mainly my mother's influence at home that helped me see my need of salvation and then she guided me through the Word of God to trust Christ. She helped me understand my need of Christ. As soon as I was saved I worked in a WOL Bible Club in my church and was then encouraged to go to WOL Bible Institute to study the Word of God. Well, since I already knew the Lord wanted me to be a missionary my summer on the WOL Island as a boat boy and then my year at the Bible Institute were all I needed to know that God was leading me to the mission field with Word of Life and to the country of Spain. We spent 12 years there and returned to the states to start a Spanish-based ministry. We worked out of New York from 1988 till 2018. Linda had gone home to be with the Lord in Feb, 2016 so He led me to our WOL Florida ministry in Hudson where I now work in churches and with students from our Bible Institute. I am still able to minister the same as we did in Spain and then in greater New York City and now here in Florida. The needs are the same in the Spanish-speaking churches in all of Florida just like in Spain and the greater NYC area. Our overseas ministry reaches to the USA and in Central and South America as well as Europe. We have been to many places and have enjoyed a very fruitful ministry in many countries. Our theme and heart's desire for all is; "Every soul reached and changed for eternity".
