Ministry Description

Internally, we coordinate the Word of Life OAE department. As missionaries, we provide evangelism training and experience to local churches, schools, other groups, and individuals. Our ministry brings the Gospel to people where they are in towns and large cities like New York City and Philadelphia. While our ministry focuses primarily on NYC, our work extends worldwide to locations such as Europe, Asia, and Canada. Our passion is to share Christ with the lost wherever they may be found and to train other believers to do the same.

About Sam

People everywhere are dying without Jesus! We are told in God's Word to go! As a 5-year-old child, I sat in church, listening to an evangelist who was using a Gospel illusion to share Christ. At the end of the service, I knew I wanted Jesus in my life, and I talked with a deacon in a side room as he explained to me how I could be saved. While still in college in 1982, I found myself in the South Bronx on a cold December day. Several evangelists took turns preaching the Gospel using a sketch board. I listened to our counselors sharing Christ with people who had never heard the Gospel. I was totally amazed that in so-called Christian America, people would not know this! I told God, “I could never do what these guys do with the board, but if I can help them do what they do, I'm available!” Little did I know that I was indeed one of them and would do that for years to come for God’s glory and by His grace.

But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Matthew 9: 36 - 37
