My name is Scott Gentry, Word of Life Local Church Missionary to West Georgia, East Alabama, and Mississippi

My passion is to reach today's youth through evangelism, discipleship, and leadership training. Our goal is to help local churches develop vibrant youth ministries.

About David

I was picked up by a pastor on that church bus every Sunday and Wednesday as a young boy. When I was 12 years old He picked me up for an event at the church. It was a Friday night movie called Heaven or Hell. After the movie the Pastor gave a gospel message and I went forward and gave my life to Christ. I was baptized the next Sunday and was told by a Deacon as I came out of the Baptistry that there was no more to it just hang on till Jesus gets there. I was never discipled until 6 years later when another pastor took me under his wing and started teaching me. I have a passion to see people come to Christ, and to make sure that they are not just dropped but discipled to grow also. God called me to be a missionary with Word of Life in 2000 and we are seeing that passion for Evangelism, Discipleship and leadership training fleshed out everyday! We are thankful to be a part of this ministry that is impacting lives!
