Ministry Description

We minister with Word of Life in San Miguel del Monte, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Our goal is to help local churches and its leaders to develop that passion for lost souls and to grow in knowledge of the word of God.
Our focus is counseling, teaching, discipling, and developing leaders.
Victor has more than 20 years of experience in teaching and has been a Professor of the Epistles of Peter at Word of Life Bible Institute Argentina, Professor of Pentateuch, Romans and Galatians at the Center for Evangelism and Discipleship in Word of Life Peru. And served as a Pastor of the Congregational Church of Maringa in the state of Paraná, Brazil. Now, he serves as the IT Department Coordinator and in teaching with virtual classes of the Epistles of Peter in different Churches in Buenos Aires. Haruko serves as an Administrator in the Christian Missionary School. She also belongs to Word of life women's ministry in communication.
We have experience running couples’ camps and Christian youth camps as well as small groups and conferences.
We are so grateful to God for the blessing of having our family working together as we have been serving as missionaries in Brazil, Peru, and now Argentina.

About Victor

I was born in Perú in a Christian family; I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was 7 years old in a Sunday School class at the First Baptist Church of Callao and three years later, I was baptized but during my teenage years I strayed from God’s ways.
When I was in the fourth year of my Industrial Engineering degree, I met a group of young people who were testifying in the streets with a passion that impacted my life. I recognized that my life being far away from God was meaningless, so I repented and asked for His forgiveness. That day I committed my life to the Lord.
I started attending the Evangelical Church close to my house. There, I met my beloved wife Haruko. We got married on September 23, 1994.
In 1998, I traveled with my wife and my two-year-old son to Argentina to begin our studies at the Bible Institute for three years. During this time God called me to be a full-time missionary. Now, I serve Him using the profession he gave me in Argentina.

About Haruko
I was born in Perú in a non-Christian family. When I was 19 years old, I trusted Jesus Christ as my Savior.
In 1986, in my first year at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, I joined a university Christian group. They encouraged me to identify myself as a daughter of God and leave a testimony in each classmate. I attended an Evangelical church near home with good biblical principles. Eventually becoming a Sunday School teacher and finally feeling God’s love through His people. There I met my beloved husband Victor. God blessed us with three children who are an important part of our ministry: Mauricio, Matias, and Mariano.

About our children

Mauricio is our oldest son, he is living in Peru, finishing his last year of Systems Engineering degree, he also finished his one-year program at the Word of Life Bible Institute in 2016. He is attending our local church in Perú and involved in discipleship and as a youth leader at the Chacarilla Baptist Church.

Matias is our middle son, he is in his first year of Music Production degree, he also finished his three-years program at the Word of Life Bible Institute in 2022. Right now, he is collaborating with the Ministry for Local Churches and musically preparing young people of the band of Word Life.

Mariano is our last son, he is in his first year of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics degree, he also finished his one-year program at the Word of Life Bible Institute in 2022. He was serving with evangelism and discipleship at the "Hogar el Alba" which is a ministry that provides a space for containment, growth, shelter and protection to children and adolescents with violated rights. Now he is using his musical talents with the Word of Life band. He has the desire to continue his second-year program at the Word of Life Bible Institute in 2024 and praying to be a missionary in Japan.

We speak Spanish, English, and Portuguese and we are willing to learn other languages to be useful in the work of God.
